Lake Zurich Nutrition Coach Teaches Gluten Free Living

Elyse Wagner will appear at the Chicago Gluten & Allergen Free Expo as a guest speaker.


Elyse Wagner, owner of My Kitchen Shrink, will be appearing at the Chicago Gluten & Allergen Free Expo as a guest blogger and author. The event will be held at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center on Saturday, April 20, and Sunday, April 21, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. both days. 


Wagner is a nutrition /lifestyle coach, blogger, author and public speaker. She is a self-described “multi-passionate nutritionist” because she loves teaching others about the power of whole foods, how to cook with whole foods easily and make it tasty. A graduate of Wagner attended The University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 2008 with a degree in nutrition. She graduated from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington in June, 2012, with a dual Master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology. 


She recently returned to the Lake Zurich area where she is coaching individuals and groups on nutrition and lifestyle. In addition, she is finishing a book, “The Survival Guide To Living Gluten Free,” that will be published in late June. She has published numerous articles about living gluten free and has created loads of gluten free recipes that she shares with readers of her Facebook page (My Kitchen Shrink) and those who subscribe to her free weekly video blog which is published on her website, Mykitchenshrink.com. Over the past few months, she has been making the rounds on a number of blog radio stations. 

With a compassionate and collaborative approach, Wagner understands that everyone is unique with special gifts and talents to share with the world. She empowers her clients to break through their barriers, to take hold of their health while providing the tools, resources and inspiration they need on their journey to living well.
