Lake Zurich Cop Accused of Causing Alcohol-Related Crash Won't Lose Job
Vincent TeRonde has been given a "last chance employment deal" for the incident that happened in September of 2012.
A Lake Zurich police officer has been given a “last chance employment agreement” after being accused of causing an alcohol-related car crash while carrying a loaded police department weapon, The Daily Herald reports.
Vincent TeRonde didn’t lose his job over the incident that occurred last September. Instead, the agreement states he must pass all random drug and alcohol tests as requested by the village and can be fired for anything that violates the contract’s terms, the Daily Herald reports. TeRonde’s employment deal lasts through Sept. 21, 2015.

Isn't Lake Zurich supposed to be one of the top DUI towns? Why is our own PD giving breaks to a drunk driving cop with a gun crashing into others property? Hello , Mayor Branding - any thoughts?

Lake Zurich is another corrupt small town in america. Does any of the residents actually know where their tax dollars are going to? Downtown maybe? This clown should be fired and sent to jail. Kind of like everyone HE busted for a DUI got. This village is going to self implode eventually. I will enjoy it looking from the outside in. Glad I don't live there any more.
