Lake Zurich District 95 Announces Preschool Program

The focus of the program is to provide a rich learning environment that fosters the development of all skills for students age 3-5.

Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 is excited to announce the opening of a pre-school run by the district beginning in August, 2013. The district preschool will challenge children of all abilities through academic rigor that is in alignment with district curriculum. The focus of the program is to provide a rich learning environment that fosters the development of all skills for students age 3-5. Dually certified teachers will teach the classes. Each class will be comprised of typically developing peers who live within the community and students from the Early Childhood Special Education program.

A monthly tuition charge of $260.00 will be required to participate in one of the half-day programs. Classes will be determined through a lottery process. An informational night will be held in April, where the application process and requirements will be explained as well. More information will also be available in the future on the district website, www.lz95.org.

Yes, this was a plan started back when Mike Paskewicz first came to the district. Glad to see this is happening. Early education is key to successful student outcomes.
