La Fitness opened today for workouts and pool use. A class schedule is expected to be available later next week, according to a club representative.

LA Fitness General Manager Mike Whitmer announced that the new Lake Zurich health club's opening has been delayed. The opening has been pushed back a week until Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Whitmer said the club is open for tours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., but is not available for workouts yet.
"We wanted to make sure the club is absolutely perfect before opening. We have some finishing touches, some small tweaks yet," Whitmer said.
Whtimer added that the good news is that the pre-opening membership rates will also be available for another week.
He noted that people who have already bought memberships are not being charged until the club is officially open. He said the club has been communicating with members via e-mail.

That's fine but what about club members whose Vernon hills and Deerfield locations have been closed down for more than 5 mo? I live in Lake Zurich and basically forced to drive to Highland park to Workout! Oh, and B.S. they are emailing members. I stopped in one day before the so called opening only to be told, oops. Not our fault come back next week, we can give you a tour though. Really?
