Police say Mundelein man took about $3,000 worth of cash and items from home he was subcontracted to clean.
Lake Zurich Police arrested a 26-year-old Mundelein man on Sept. 6 in connection with a residential burglary that was discovered in the 600 block of Waterford Drive on Aug. 23.
Ryan S. Rivera, 1052 W. Hawley Street in Mundelein, was charged with residential burglary and is being held in Lake County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Lake Zurich Police Commander David Bradstreet explained that Rivera was part of a house cleaning crew that was subcontracted to clean the residence.
Rivera is alleged to have taken $3,000 worth of items including cash, jewelry and an iPad. Bradstreet said the alleged offender was discovered after questioning of various individuals who had access to the home.

"He ran and we had a small foot pursuit; he was caught and taken to jail," Bradstreet said.

I hope they give this POS a decent amount of time in prison. What a loser.

Ah, yes. Another winner in the "Content of Character" reality show. Unfortunately it is likely he will end up in front of a liberal judge who will feel sorry for him, and will do little or no time.
If he does spend some time in Crime University he will likely pick up some new skills. Perhaps bank robbery, perhaps he will major in identity theft. What ever his career choice, I am sure he will make a solid contribution to the future of America.
