New for 2012

Grade-Based Leagues - Beginning with this upcoming season, in-house league placement is based on school grade. The spirit of our old date-of-birth system was to align with the school grades — so in the spirit of what momma taught us... Let's keep it simple! This link shows the new and old side by side for comparison:  www.lzbsa.org/news_article/show/115657?referrer_id=98705

Field Improvement Fundraising - Last year, the proceeds from the Checkbook Fundraiser checkbook helped us complete major off season field repair to Staples 1, Staples 2 and Hunters Creek. Check out the report at:

www.lzbsa.org/news_article/show/124824?referrer_id=98705

For 2012, we're adopting an upfront $20 fundraising fee that is in addition to registration fees. This improves last year's checkbook process significantly by: removing the logistics of distributing books and collecting funds; increasing the margin returned to the association; reducing from $35 to $20 the fundraising fee; and, most importantly, allowing us to continue to improve our fields. We will raffle several cash prizes (totaling $2,000) and $500 worth of LZBSA apparel on opening day!

Early Bird Rates

Register by Jan. 20, either online or in-person, to qualify for early-bird rates. Fees increase by $25 on Jan. 21. So don't delay, sign up today!
