Long Grove Chocolate Fest, May 4-6

Back by popular demand, Long Grove invites families to enjoy the annual Long Grove Chocolate Fest.  Fill the day with chocolaty treats, live music, great food and distinctive shopping in charming Long Grove. Enjoy chocolate demonstrations and workshops, wine parings, live music all over town and plenty of children's activities.

 

Barrington Area Kid Fest

Saturday, May 5, 11 a.m.

To celebrate June as Leave No Child Inside month, the 1st
annual Barrington Area Kid Fest - a fun-filled event combining the 11th annual Community Kite Fly and 2nd annual Family Nature Fest -will be Saturday, May 5, from 11am - 3pm in Citizens Park, 511 Lake Zurich Road (at Route 14) in Barrington. This family-oriented event is hosted by the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club, the Barrington Park District, and Leave No Child Inside of the Greater Barrington and Lake Zurich area

 

 

The King and I at Middle School North

The Lake Zurich Middle School North drama department is proud to present their spring musical, “The King and I”. Performances are Thursday, May 3rd, Friday, May 4th, and Saturday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m. at Middle School North, 95 Hubbard Lane, Hawthorn Woods, IL. Tickets may be purchased at the door: $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for students/seniors.

 

 

Mayfaire at Water’s Edge Waldorf School, Wauconda

Saturday, May 5, 1 to 5 p.m.

Bring the whole family to Waters Edge Waldorf School to celebrate spring with Maypole dancing, pony rides, crafts, live music, delicious homemade food and more.

 

St. Baldrick’s Foundation Fundraiser

Sunday, May 6, 1 p.m.

A fundraiser for the St. Baldrick's Foundation will be held May 6 at Scoreboard. Organized by Stig Carlson, the event aims to raise $20,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which funds money to find a cure for childhood cancer.
