the police did a great job. the organized protesters were so downtrodden by Monday that only hundreds showed up to protest Boeing.. they had expected thousands for their grand finale. This was also a good example of how the lack of leadership for any given group results in that group being rudderless. There was a time on Friday where OWS was marching towards the Michigan Avenue bridge and got turned back by the police.. lacking leadership and a plan 'b', the protesters started wandering through the streets in small groups, looking lost.

Couldn't agree more. Admirable restraint throughout the weekend. Kudos to all the officers, as well as Superintendent McCarthy and Mayor Emanuel.
