Five wrestlers from Lake Zurich Middle School North will compete in the Illinois Elementary School Association state wrestling individual final this weekend.

These students qualified to compete: Eric Metzger, second place at sectionals, 65 pounds; Ben Baca, sectional champ, 75 pounds; Drew Witt, third place, 95 pounds; Derrick Juarez, second place, 105 pounds; and Bryce Kapitzky, sectional champ, 126 pounds.

The state competition starts Friday at the Northern Illinois University Convocation Center. Wrestling starts at 3:30 p.m., followed by championship matches at 5 p.m.
