Ela Library Wants to Know Your Thoughts
Ela Area Public Library is asking residents to complete a community survey.
Residents of the Ela Area Public Library District have the opportunity to complete a community survey about Library services through March 8, 2013.
Ela Library’s 2013 Community Survey was mailed to every household in the Library’s service area in early February. Even if you are not a Library user, residents are encouraged to respond. The Library is in the process of gathering views about Library usage, new and current services and other concerns that may deserve special emphasis in the future. Surveys should be returned using the enclosed postage paid return envelope. Responses are confidential.
If you’ve misplaced your survey or never received one, please visit the Library’s Information Desk or call (847) 438-3433.

I have lived in Lake Zurich for almost 32 years. I pay LZ taxes but yet have to use the Barrington library. That is ridiculous how they figure out the boundaries. I can walk to the library in LZ so how am I not in the district??

Joan, the library district boundaries are a bit jagged, to be sure. We can double check your address for you if you want to call us. Ask for Patti Paige. You're also more than welcome to visit and use our library even though you have a Barrington card.
