The Wendy's in Lake Zurich, 229 S. Rand Rd, is hosting a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on April 26, 2012 from 5-8pm. Come in for dinner or go through the drive through if you are in a hurry between 5 and 8pm. Wendy's will donate 15% of all proceeds back to the Leukemia and Lymphoma.
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
LLS is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services (from the www.lls.org website).
