Mayor Suzanne Branding to speak at Ela Historical Society Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. The Ela Historical Society will be hosting our mayor, Suzanne Branding. She will be sharing some of her experiences growing up in Lake Zurich: from a quiet resort town to the town it is today; from small organizations to our local government.

The Mayor's talk will take place at the Ela Historical Society and Museum, located at 95 E. Main St. in Lake Zurich. The talk is open to the public and is free. Refreshments will be served.

Because of continued interest, our exhibit honoring the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts will continue though the end of April. All are encouraged to walk through the museum.  Our hours are Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
